The heavy and the light letters

  The heavy and the light letters الحروف المفخمة والمرققة   In Arabic alphabet there heavy letters and light letters; there are heavy letters all the time, and there are light letters all the time, and are letters which are heavy in cases and light in another cases ( temporary heavy letters) ; so, we have three groups of heavy and lights letters 1 - Heavy letters (all the time) الحروف المفخمة 2 – Light letters (all the time) الحروف المرققة 3 – Temporary heavy letters   Let's begin with the first type   1 - Heavy letters (all the time) الحروف المفخمة There are 7 heavy letters all the time in Arabic alphabet. The Meaning of Tanween and its purpose in Arabic and its Shapes In Qur'an  Tanween, named Nunation in English, is a sign of two Fathah or two Dhammah or two Kasrah occurs at the end of certain nouns. The word Tanween comes from the letter "noon", because pronouncing of tanween is like Noon Saakin.  From here we can say that tanween is to make pronunciation of the word end like "noon"  and we can say also that tanween is written as two fathah or two Dhammah or two kasrah and is pronounced as Noon saakin. How can we write tanween and how can we pronounce it? For example  The letter ت  with a short vowel will be  تَ تِ تُ But if we double this short vowel it will be  تاَ تٍ تٌ And we should notice that only in case of adding tanween with fatha, we need to add "alif" at the end of the word, if the word doesn't end with Alif So how does this look with a real word The word بيت which means a "house"  If we want to add tanween at the end to it We...

  Second: Idgham    الحكم الثانى: الإدغام   Meaning of Idgham  “To mix” or to “put one thing into another”. It is the mixing or entering of a Saakin letter into a Mutaharrik letter following it, so that they became a single Mushaddad letter. Idgham letters  There are six letters of Idghaam which are collected in the word :  "يرملون" The letters of Idgham then are: ي ر م ل و ن  Note: the Noon Saakin or the Tanween and the Idgham letter have to be in two different words, otherwise the reader is not Supposed to do Idghaam.
